The beaches of Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas and the coves of Tio Ximo and l'Almadrava of Benidorm have once again renewed the Qualitur flag, which recognize their quality and excellence and which is delivered annually by the Valencian Agency of Tourism.
The Qualitur flags come, one more year, to reward excellence in terms of tourist quality of the beaches of Benidorm, and to value the commitment to maintain this quality standard in order to, the tourist capital, remains being a pioneer and a reference in tourism.
The Qualitur flag, will be hoisted next Thursday on the beaches of the city, is linked to compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards of Quality and Environment. Altogether, 172 beaches from 35 destinations in the Valencian Community have achieved this award.
In addition to the Qualitur flags, the beaches of Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas also have the Blue Flag and the Q of Quality; likewise, these beaches together with the coves of l’Almadrava and Tio Ximo, achieve with the EMAS Regulation; and one of the few points of Accessible Beaches of the Levante coast, which has the Universal Accessibility certification that regulate the UNE 170001-1 ad 170001-2 rules, is the point of Accessible Beaches (va enlace) located in Elche Park.
