This Cosmopolitan, entertaining and colourful resort is the ideal place to spend your holidays or just relax for a few days. A plethora of tourism activities tailored to your needs in this “Gay friendly” setting on the Mediterranean.

Benidorm is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a wide range of excellent activities and services, characterised by its quality and excellence. Its special microclimate means the resort has an average annual temperature of 19º, perfect to enjoy what is on offer all year round and at any time of day. Benidorm is visited by millions of tourists throughout the tear converting into a multi plurality touristic town.

Thanks to its distinctive skyline, Benidorm is well known as the Spanish Manhattan. It has more than fifty establishments geared towards our LGBT visitors (hotels, sex shops, cafeterias, bars, restaurants, travel agencies and saunas), most of them located in the old town area of Benidorm. Though there are plenty more places to choose from throughout the extension of the town from the Cala of Benidorm through to the Rincon de Loix area at the opposite end of the town, converting the town into a grand resort where you can find everything close at hand without having to travel too far. An excellent public transport service of buses and taxis at accessible prices will help you travel around.

The Benidorm Pride is also celebrated in September where the parade stands out as a being fun, visual and colourful event knowing how to unite fiesta with culture as cultural events are celebrated at the same time for the LGBT visitors and general public.

At all of them you will be part of great atmosphere whether alone or accompanied. In the evenings, enjoy different types of music and fashionable DJs in establishments, located in the streets named San Miguel, Santa Faz, Alicante and Quatres Cantons, among others. And don’t miss out the shows and performances of the latest gogo dancers and drag queens. You can also find alternative nightlife entertainment with the best fiestas going on at that moment in the pubs and discos on the Levante beach front where most visitors tend to gather. You can also complement your free time in other establishments in the Rincon de Loix area or at the nightclub venues specialists in transformation located on the Avenida Beniarda.

And if you want even more, there are many more leisure opportunities. If you love strong sensations, visit one of the five best theme parks in Europe. They are in Benidorm! On your doorstep! The parks are some of the best complementary activities for your stay, Aqualandia, Aqua Natura, Terra Mítica, Terra Natura and Mundo Mar. You can find a made to measure pack to enjoy the parks, where you buy a season pass, take advantage of many offers the parks have or buy combined packages.

Music is one of the great protagonists of Benidorm’s summer. Not only will you enjoy the Benidorm pride in September, but also two high profile music festivals. In July, the Low Cost Festival attracts the best of Spanish and international performers. In August, with the best renowned DJs of the electronic music scene, Electrobeach will make you vibrate with thousands of sessions that will last until dawn.

If you prefer to enjoy music in a more relaxed atmosphere, there is nothing better than the Electrobeach “sunset sessions”, an experience for the senses. The best sunset in the Mediterranean is at the rhythm of house and elegant electro music.

On the other hand, the daytime is for sunbathing and relaxing on Levante, Poniente, Mal pas beaches of fine golden sand, or on the quiet coves of Tio Ximo and Almadrava. Benidorm has one of the busiest urban beaches, Levante beach, more than 2 kilometres long and with various services. You can also practise water sports such as Cable ski. Are you brave enough to try your hand at water skiing on the Mediterranean? And if you want more adrenaline filled activities you can opt for other adventures with the backdrop of the Bay of Benidorm, Do you dare to try parasailing! Jet Ski or enjoy some of the new Boat Parties at sea, being other possibilities on offer. If instead you prefer to enjoy the sea and in turn enjoy a quiet and relaxed time then visit the Island of Benidorm by boat, with its rich ecological value and symbol of Benidorm

If you prefer visiting the smaller coves, don’t miss the cosy secluded Tio Ximo and Almadrava coves, located by Serra Gelada Natural Park, where you will feel the perfect essence of the Mediterranean. You can recharge your batteries ready for a new evening of fun and entertainment.

Poniente beach, quieter and further away from the town centre, is the largest beach an expanse of fine golden sand, below the newly built promenade with modern architecture lines that imitates the movement of the waves in the Mediterranean sea, with its multi-coloured paving is so inviting for a stroll.

If you like to keep in shape you can practise all kinds of water sports, and if enjoy scuba diving to view the beauty of the underwater life of the Mediterranean Benidorm’s Island is your place. You can also climb, walk or cycle and take one of the five routes of Serra Gelada Nature Park, where you can enjoy a memorable panoramic view of the entire town or, of course, you can opt for a round of golf on one of our golf courses.

Do you fancy a drink before lunch or dinner? There is not only live music but a full selection of drinks and cocktails at any of the bars on Levante beach. For lunch or dinner, you can choose from a large variety of selections, from traditional Mediterranean cuisine to select international dishes from all over the world. If you prefer tapas visit Santo Domingo Street and its adjacent ones in the old town, where you sample many types of tapas in in the numerous restaurants, many of them being Basque.
