Photographic exhibition: 'The Accidental Tourist', a tribute to Benidorm's tourists.

It will be open to the public until the 17th of October, from 3pm to 10pm, at the Boca del Calvari Museum.

The exhibition entitled 'The Accidental Tourist' has arrived to the Boca del Calvari Museum. It gathers pictures by the Alicante-born Cristina de Middel; the Galician with links to Alicante, María Moldes; and the British photographer in love with Benidorm, Martin Parr.

The theme of the exhibition is mass tourism and its repercussions on Benidorm's urban landscape and on those who live in the city, reflecting essentiality and an uninhibited image of the Benidorm that the three artists know so well.

Collectively there are three photographic series. By Cristina De Middel the series 'I love Benidorm' is on display; by María Moldes, the exhibition features the series 'Scenes of radioactive life'; and Martin Parr documents the 'kitsch' side of reality..

The exhibition will remain until the 17th of October 2021 at the Boca del Calvari Museum from 3pm to 10pm, respecting the safety measures and protocols in force in the Valencian Community.
