If Benidorm is a unique town, equally its surrounding areas also offer various differing landscapes to the coast only a few kilometers away. Due to its proximity to the mountain a stay in Benidorm invites to go on various excursions where you can discover surprising places of natural beauty and varied topography, and participate in and enjoy rewarding activities such as hiking or simply a leisurely stroll to observe everything around us.
Benidorm is part of the local region called the Marina Baixa. Many local towns and villages benefit from each other and the tourism that comes to the area. The collaboration between Benidorm and our nieghbours creates a destination with multiple possibilities of things to do and see.
Some of these inland areas include: the waterfalls of Algar, the medieval “Castell of Guadalest”, Confrides, Penáguila, Tárbena,Sella, La Nucia, Polop, Callosa de Ensarria, Finestrat, Relleu, Orcheta, Benimantell, Bolulla, Beniarda, Benifato. However, it is also possible to see more of the coastal landscape and visit other beautiful towns such as Altea, la Vila Joiosa, Playa del Albir (Alfaz del Pi)
Further afield from the local area of the Marina Baixa, you can visit the capital of the province, Alicante (45 km) and the Capital of the region, Valencia, just 140 km away.
