Benidorm, Somni Vertical: art, fashion and architecture in the Espais d’Art Urbà

Benidorm, Somni Vertical, by photographer María José Lozano Pérez, brings together 57 images combining art, fashion and architecture, with Benidorm’s most iconic skyscrapers taking centre stage.

The exhibition can be visited until after the summer in the seven Espais d’Art Urbà of Benidorm, located in different areas of the city: El Castell, El Carrasco, El Pont, Hispanitat, El Campo, Ponent and Els Tolls.

Through this exhibition, residents and visitors can enjoy a photographic journey through Benidorm’s urban landscape, a city known for its vertical architecture, Mediterranean light and distinctive skyline by the sea.

The photographs were taken between 2018 and 2020 and offer a creative vision of some of the city’s most recognisable buildings. Each image also includes a QR code that visitors can scan with their mobile phone to access additional information in several languages, including explanations and anecdotes narrated by the artist herself.

Benidorm, Somni Vertical turns the streets into an open and accessible museum, offering a different cultural experience for anyone exploring the city during their stay.
