On Friday, 12 June, Benidorm joins the celebration of International Knit in Public Day with an open gathering for everyone who would like to enjoy knitting and crochet in a friendly, creative and welcoming atmosphere.
The event will take place at La Furona, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and is suitable for all audiences: young people, older visitors, knitting enthusiasts and anyone interested in discovering this handmade, community-focused activity.
As in previous years, the event will include the traditional yarn bombing, a collective action designed to fill the space with colour and creativity. Those who wish to take part can contribute a knitted or crocheted square measuring approximately 15 x 15 centimetres.
The activity is free and open to the public. Chairs will be available, although attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair where possible for extra comfort.
