From June 17 to 25, the La Cala neighborhood comes alive with one of the most beloved festivals of the year: the Bonfires of San Juan. A magical celebration of fire, summer, and community spirit — full of tradition, emotion, and joy.
🎆 JUNE 17–25: SAN JUAN IN LA CALA
children's bonfire with sweets and pets, and adult bonfire with fantasy castle
For nine days, the streets are filled with parades, communal dinners, music, mascletàs (daytime fireworks), children’s games and the spectacular cremà, when the monuments are set ablaze in a symbolic farewell to the past. In 2025, we celebrate the 45th anniversary of the La Cala Bonfire — a very special year!
