Jessie Brooke

Jessie Brooke comes from a show-business background, including West End stage shows and national TV drama, so music has always played an important part in her life. Without it she doesn’t even feel like herself, it’s where she feels at home.

At the age of 19, after a summer season in the Greek island Rhodes, she realised she wanted to live abroad and dedicate her life to the music industry, and at the age of 23 she moved over to Spain. When she discovered Benidorm, she went around giving out business cards trying to get gigs as a DJ, singer, or karaoke host and soon got a job as a karaoke host 7 nights a week. And even though she did go back to England and got an office job for a while to get away from the music industry, she soon figured out that that wasn’t her place, and came back to Benidorm to continue with her passion for entertaining.

She started doing the Girls Aloud tribute 15 years ago and it’s still going with a full venue every single night, thanks to all the well-known they sing and all the energy they put into each show. The first night they performed, the manager of the bar even got into trouble with the owner because the waiters couldn’t get round to serve the drinks because the venue was so full! She thinks that meeting up with the girls for rehearsals and the actual performance is one of the best parts of her job. She also does a tribute to the princess of pop, Britney Spears, with dancers and all! You can tell that Jessie really enjoys entertaining the audience, both in her tribute shows and also as a DJ, which is her main job.
