‘El Prado en las Calles’ (Prado in the Streets)

From 27 September to 27 October

'El Padro en las Calles'(Prado in the Streets) arrives in Benidorm, the first stop on a programme that will tour the whole of the Valencian Community.

This open-air exhibition has been designed to recreate the experience of visiting the museum, allowing visitors to see the paintings in their original size. It consists of 50 photographic reproductions, with explanatory panels, a QR code and information panels. It features reproductions of works by great masters of painting such as Goya, Velázquez, Rubens, Dürer, Rembrandt, Bosch, Titian and Caravaggio, among others.

The exhibition will be open from 27 September to 27 October in Av. Del Mediterráneo free of charge.

Theatrical visits to the exhibition "El Prado en las Calles" have been scheduled during the weekends of October. In these performances, two actors, portraying painters Diego Velázquez and Francisco de Goya, will guide visitors through the artworks on display, sharing historical details, anecdotes, and curiosities. The visits will take place on the 4th, 5th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, 26th, and 27th of October, with three daily sessions at 17:30, 18:15, and 19:00. This activity is carried out in Spanish.
