The Espai d’Art La Casilla hosts a new exhibition dedicated to the people and entities of Benidorm who have made a significant impact on local culture. Starting this Friday, the exhibition "Distinguidos de Benidorm" will be open to the public, highlighting the 27 recipients of the city’s most emblematic cultural award since 2006.
Located in the historic peones camineros house on Emilio Ortuño Avenue, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the diversity of talents that have enriched Benidorm’s cultural identity. From musicians and artists to sports associations and educational centres, each of the honourees has been chosen for their dedication and achievements in fields ranging from music, literature, and local history to photography and many more.
The exhibition, which will remain open until the end of January, not only celebrates those who have received this recognition but also aims to inspire the community to discover and appreciate the city’s cultural heritage. Visitors can enjoy the exhibition from Thursday to Sunday, between 16:00 and 20:00, offering an opportunity to connect with the rich history and contributions of those who have shaped Benidorm’s cultural life over the years.
