Bars and Hotels in Benidorm’s English Zone Collect Funds for DANA-Affected Residents

Starting November 9th, bars, hotels, and other venues in Benidorm’s popular English Zone will collect donations to aid those impacted by the recent DANA storm. This initiative will run until November 15th, coinciding with the highly anticipated Fancy Dress event.

Leisure establishments and hotels located in Benidorm's English Zone have organized a fundraiser to support residents affected by the recent DANA storm. Donation boxes will be available at participating locations from November 9th until November 15th, offering visitors and locals alike a chance to contribute to this cause.

This charitable initiative coincides with the famous Fancy Dress Party, an event organized by local hospitality businesses that draws thousands of British tourists each year. To ensure the safety of participants, the number of parade floats will be reduced by half, but the event's vibrant spirit is expected to remain strong.

A total of 38 establishments have joined this fundraising effort, including popular spots such as Marina Resort, Guinness Bar, Jolly Roger, and Morgan Tavern, among others. Organizers anticipate substantial support from attendees and hope the fundraiser will gather significant aid for those affected by the storm.

The city will also maintain a heightened security presence throughout the Fancy Dress event due to the large expected turnout of British visitors. Despite changes to the event format, Benidorm is ready to welcome all who wish to enjoy the festivities while supporting a worthy cause.
