Exhibition "Exposición ‘Menjars de la terra. Legado gastronómico de González Pomata’ "

The Espai d'Art La Casilla (Emilio Ortuño, 25) will be hosting a new exhibition from next Tuesday 4 February. In this case, it is the exhibition ‘Menjars de la terra. Gastronomic legacy of González Pomata'.

The exhibition is based on the documentary archive of the reporter of the newspaper Información, González Pomata, which is made up of more than 13,000 graphic documents, which show the compilation work done by the reporter during three decades.

The exhibition has been awarded the Emporia de Plata National Award for the best ephemeral, transportable and itinerant exhibition, the result of the collaboration between the Carmencita Chair of Gastronomic Flavour Studies at the University of Alicante and the Mediterráneo Foundation, the repository of this legacy.

The exhibition brings together images of the ‘Menjars de Terra’ conference, which was held twice in Benidorm (1990 and 1992).

It will be available until 15 June.
