The exhibition ‘La Carta de Poblament de Benidorm (1325) a través dels documents’ offers a fascinating journey through the founding history of Benidorm via original and reproduced historical documents. Curated by emeritus professor Rafael Alemany Ferrer, the exhibition is part of the 700th Anniversary celebrations of the Carta de Poblament’s granting.
Visitors will find reproductions of the original 14th-century parchment, translations, editions, and a comprehensive collection of research conducted by key historical scholars. The exhibition is housed within the Museu Boca del Calvari and will remain open to the public until October 9, alongside the museum’s permanent displays.
Benidorm’s Espais d’Art Urbà host 53 photos by Mistos Photography School students, offering a realistic and human view of daily life. Displayed across six city neighbourhoods until October.

The museum hosts a must-see exhibition by Spain’s first female photojournalist. Through nearly 100 images, Joana Biarnés captures the evolution of fashion and Spanish society between the 1950s and 1970s with honesty and freshness. A bold, natural, and pioneering perspective that brought fashion to the streets.

From 8 to 18 July 2025, the Casa del Fester in Benidorm will host a painting exhibition by artist Joaquín Reyes Fernández. Organised by the Asociación Cultural Manchega Tramontana, the exhibition features a selection of works inspired by La Mancha and religious themes, offering a pictorial tribute to tradition and devotion.
The exhibition can be visited in the morning from 10:00 to 13:00 and in the afternoon from 18:00 to 21:00.
Espai d’Art La Casilla hosts The Ocher Labyrinth until November 23, a captivating collection of 54 photographs taken by Benidorm-born photographer Jaume Fuster over four years of exploration inside the old ocher mine at Ti Ximo cove.
The exhibit is accompanied by a catalog featuring the photographs, historical essays, testimonies from the last miners’ descendants, and the only known topographic map of the mine. A must-see to uncover Benidorm’s hidden and fascinating heritage.

📍El Murtal Bridge in Benidorm
The urban artist from Alicante, Ana Cortes, Bosska, has replaced the design made by Misterpio on the El Murtal bridge in 2019, deteriorated by the passage of time, in an area of approximately 380m2.
She is also the author of the mural ‘Homenaje a la Mujer’ (Homage to Women) located next to the old pier at Rincón de Loix.
