Benidorm receives the ‘Sendero Azul 2025’ award for El Moralet Park
A recognized trail joins the city's rich natural offering for eco-tourism and outdoor activities
El Moralet Park has been awarded the prestigious ‘Sendero Azul 2025’ distinction by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC). This award celebrates the conservation and enhancement of natural trails that now serve as key spaces for environmental education, promoting sustainable recreational, sports, and tourism activities all year round.
The award was collected during a ceremony held at the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia and will soon be displayed at the park. El Moralet's inclusion in the Blue Trails network highlights its transformation into a notable environmental and tourist resource, located just steps away from Benidorm’s urban center.
Once little known, El Moralet has now become a valued green lung open to both residents and visitors, thanks to efforts to restore and improve its paths and natural surroundings.
