Festa de la Creu 2025 in Benidorm

The Festa de la Creu is one of the most deeply rooted celebrations in the tradition of Benidorm, marking the start of May with a series of religious and festive events that bring together both residents and visitors. Enjoy this unique festival that combines devotion and joy in a festive and community atmosphere.

Program of Activities

• Wednesday, April 30th

22:00 h – Vestida de la Creu at Plaza de la Creu, with the decoration of the cross with flowers, accompanied by the traditional music of the Colla de Xirimiters de la Marina.

• Thursday, May 1st

· 08:00 h – General ringing of bells at the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, followed by a parade with the Colla de Xirimiters de la Marina.

· 10:45 h – Pilgrimage from the church to the foot of the cross at Avenida Emilio Ortuño, where the blessing of the municipal term will take place. Recitation of the traditional verse to the Santa Creu, performed by a local child. Flower offering at the Parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana, followed by a mass with the music of the Coro de la Barqueta.

· 19:00 h – "Festa de la Creu" concert by the Societat Musical La Nova Benidorm at the Óscar Esplá Auditorium.

• Saturday , May 3rd

19:00 h – Mass for the Deceased at the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, concluding the festivities.
