Cross of May Festivity 2025 in Benidorm

The Cross of May Festival, organized by the Casa de Andalucía de Benidorm, is an Andalusian-origin celebration that takes place on May 1st. This religious and popular festival commemorates the discovery of the Holy Cross by Saint Helena and marks the beginning of the spring season, bringing together locals in a festive atmosphere full of tradition.

📅 Program of Activities

• 19:00 h – Blessing of the Cross
  The parish priest of the La Almudena Church, D. Pedro Crespo, will bless the cross adorned with flowers, located in front of the Casa de Andalucía.

• 19:30 h – Musical performances and dancing
  Enjoy the performance of sevillanas and other traditional dances, with the participation of all attendees in a festive atmosphere.

• 20:30 h – Floral offering
  Attendees can approach the cross to place flowers, contributing to its decoration and showing their devotion.

• 21:00 h – Social gathering and tapas
  The day will end with a social gathering among attendees, tasting tapas and sharing moments of camaraderie.
