Les Fogueres de Sant Joan in Benidorm

The San Juan Bonfires are one of the most iconic and eagerly awaited festivals in Benidorm’s La Cala neighborhood. From June 17 to 25, fire, music, community spirit and tradition come together for a week full of activities for all ages. In 2025, the event celebrates the 45th anniversary of the La Cala Bonfire, making it even more special.

The burning of the monuments (cremà), mascletàs (daytime firecrackers), parades and floral offerings are just a few of the highlights of this magical celebration. A must-see event to welcome summer in a unique setting. 🔥🎉

June 17: Festival begins with marquee setup and craft workshops. 🎨

June 20: Official collection of the Fire Queens, Nerea and Claudia, through the streets with live music by Bandeta La Marina. 👑🎺

June 21: Children’s games, festive parades and tribute concerts. 🎠🎶

June 22: Water party, informal parade and election of the 2025 Fire King. 💦👣

June 23: Floral and food offering to Saint John, live performance and traditional midnight wave-jumping on the beach. 🌸🌊

June 24: Mass, mascletà, final parades and the cremà of the children’s and adult monuments. A night full of fire, emotion and tradition. 🔥🎆

June 25: Official closing of the festivities and start of preparations for the 2026 bonfires. 🕊️
