Benidorm Hosts the 20th Costa Blanca Cup Futsal with Record International Participation
From July 1 to 6, Benidorm becomes the international hub of youth futsal as it hosts the 20th edition of the Costa Blanca Cup Futsal. Over 1,000 players from 97 teams representing 11 countries gather for a week of sport, friendship, and multicultural celebration.
Benidorm and nearby towns in the Marina Alta and Baixa regions are the stage for the 20th Costa Blanca Cup Futsal, an event that continues to grow in global reach. The 2025 edition features 97 teams, including 38 from abroad, 37 from the rest of Spain, and 22 from the Valencian Community.
The tournament blends competitive futsal with a festive, family-friendly atmosphere, all set in a top tourist destination. Highlights include Brazil’s return to the competition and the first-time participation of the United States in futsal, alongside teams from France, England, Belgium, Taiwan, Lebanon, and Venezuela.
The opening ceremony was held at Benidorm Palace, where all teams paraded in a vibrant celebration of light, dance, and energy. A special 20th-anniversary trophy was revealed, adding extra excitement to this unique experience that combines sport and culture in Benidorm.
