El Moralet awarded the 'Blue Trail Flag 2025' in recognition of its natural and touristic value
Benidorm celebrates the certification of El Moralet's perimeter trail, the only one with this recognition within an urban park of over one million square metres.
El Moralet Park now proudly displays the prestigious 'Blue Trail Flag 2025', an award granted by the Environmental and Consumer Education Association (ADEAC) for the efforts made in restoring and enhancing this vital green space in Benidorm. The recognition highlights the transformation of the park’s perimeter trail into an accessible, well-signposted, and sustainable natural area, perfect for year-round outdoor activities such as hiking, sports, and nature tourism.
This trail is the only one in Spain to receive the 'Blue Trail' certification that runs entirely through an urban park of such vast dimensions—over one million square metres. El Moralet has become a benchmark for environmental recovery and forest management. Beyond its ecological value, the park now serves as a reference point for environmental education and a direct connection to nature for both locals and visitors.
