Benidorm is home to some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic festivals, including Low Festival, Reggaeton Beach Festival, Desalia, and the legendary Fancy Dress Party. These large-scale events blend music, performance and mass participation, strengthening the city’s identity as a cultural epicentre of the Mediterranean and drawing thousands of visitors each year.

 

Desalia Benidorm

One of Spain’s most exclusive summer events, organised by Ron Barceló, transformed Benidorm in 2024 into a stage where electronic music, design, light and immersive experiences came together.

  • 🌟 Highlights: Top international DJs, visual performances, the all-white theme, and beachside parties.

Desalia Benidorm 2024 attracted a young, trendsetting audience with a taste for experiential tourism, positioning the city as a benchmark for lifestyle and electronic music events.

 

Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF)

One of the biggest urban music festivals in Europe, held every July in Benidorm.

Fancy Dress Party

One of Europe’s largest outdoor fancy-dress celebrations, which every November fills the streets of Benidorm’s Rincón de Loix with colour and creativity.

  • 🎉 Origin: A spontaneous tradition started by British tourists.

  • 🎭 Atmosphere: Parades, DJs, themed bars, floats and limitless imagination.

Although not an official festival, the City Council works actively to ensure safety and smooth logistics. Today, it’s an iconic celebration that reflects Benidorm’s cosmopolitan, festive and free-spirited character, embraced by both visitors and residents alike.
