The ‘Luis Duart’ room launches a new audiovisual timeline of the city’s key historical moments.
To mark International Archaeology Day, the Museu Boca del Calvari in Benidorm has unveiled a new attraction: a chronological audiovisual that highlights the city’s major historical milestones. This new feature is part of the ‘Luis Duart Alabarta’ room, focused on local archaeology.
The projection enhances the museum’s archaeological collection by providing educational context for both residents and tourists. Featured events include the granting of the first and second Carta de Poblament, the French occupation, the launch of the ‘trenet’ railway, and the arrival of potable water in Benidorm.
This engaging experience is now available and is especially enriching for younger audiences—just in time to celebrate Benidorm’s 700 years of documented history.
