From October 2nd to 5th, Benidorm celebrates its traditional Moors and Christians Festivities, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the local calendar. During these days, the streets are filled with music, parades, and colourful costumes that bring to life the history of the Reconquest, with Moorish and Christian troops marching through the city centre in a unique festive atmosphere.
The programme combines spectacular parades with symbolic acts such as the Moorish invasion, the Christian reconquest, and historical reenactments that transport the audience back in time. Religious ceremonies, fireworks, and gunpowder displays also play a key role, adding tradition, culture, and plenty of excitement to the celebrations.
