Benidorm enhances its green areas and trees for the new season

Benidorm is renewing its parks, gardens, and promenades with improvement works taking place in September and October, after the summer heat.
The goal is to ensure that visitors and residents enjoy an even greener, more welcoming city, ready for the new season.

Key improvements include:

• 🌱 Poniente Promenade: installation of 300 m² of artificial grass and replanting of 1,000 plants.

• 🌳 Trees: planting of 130 new specimens, replacement of 60 damaged trees, and removal of 55 affected palm trees.

• 🌿 Salt de l’Aigüa: replacement of dry palm trees with melias, providing more shade for students and pedestrians.

• 🌼 Parks and walks: hedge repairs along the CV-70, Comunidad Europea Avenue, and L’Aigüera Park; restorations in Séquia Mare and Foietes.

• 🌺 3,000 ornamental plants to refresh different areas of the city.

These improvements strengthen Benidorm’s commitment to a well-kept and sustainable environment, offering tourists and locals pleasant spaces to walk, relax, and enjoy outdoor life.
