Benidorm upgrades its schools with new interactive digital classrooms

Benidorm keeps moving forward in educational innovation by adding 115 new digital panels in ten nursery and primary schools as part of its ‘Interactive Digital Classrooms’ program. Over the summer, 80 classrooms were upgraded to install this technology without disrupting the school schedule, offering a more engaging and interactive environment for students.

The schools involved include Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Miguel Hernández, Els Tolls, Mestre Gaspar López, Serra Gelada, El Murtal, La Cala, Gabriel Miró, Ausiàs March and Leonor Canalejas. This initiative places Benidorm at the forefront of educational digitalisation, with 297 digital classrooms currently operating and another 139 planned for future installation.

These interactive panels allow students to engage using touch or a stylus, enabling activities such as digital writing, web browsing, and the use of educational apps. These classrooms promote a more dynamic, collaborative and motivating learning experience for children who live in or visit Benidorm during the school year.
