Benidorm Supports Initiatives for Gender Equality and Prevention of Gender Violence

Benidorm City Council has allocated €15,000 in funding to support non-profit associations working in the areas of comprehensive support for women, gender violence prevention, and the promotion of women’s associations.

These grants will help finance workshops, talks, campaigns, and community-based actions aimed at improving the lives of women in social and family contexts. The official guidelines have been approved and will be published soon through the City Council’s official channels.

This initiative is part of the Municipal Gender Equality Plan, which aims to promote equal opportunities and encourage women’s participation in society.
