Anémona –the Self-Help Group for Women with Breast and Gynecological Cancer in Benidorm– has launched an inspiring new challenge: to row 1,600 kilometers on ergometers, simulating the distance from Benidorm to the Galician coast, ending in a pilgrimage to Iria Flavia.
Each participant will row about 120 km, with the goal of collectively reaching the symbolic destination of the Arousa estuary. From there, on October 8, the group will travel north to complete the challenge with a 25 km boat journey to the Church of Santiago Apóstol in Padrón.
This initiative is a heartfelt tribute to resilience, teamwork, and life itself. A moving journey that brings together sport, tradition, and personal transformation.
