New Urban Gardens in l’Horta: Application Period Now Open for 48 New Plots

Starting Monday, September 15 through September 24, the application period is open for one of the 48 new urban garden plots located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Camí de la Parva, at the heart of Benidorm’s traditional orchard landscape. These plots are designed for ecological farming and self-consumption, and will be assigned by lottery to residents who have been registered in Benidorm for at least one year.

Each plot measures 7.5 x 2.5 meters and is part of a green area with high environmental and scenic value. Successful applicants will also receive training on ecological farming to promote sustainable use of the space.

With this second phase, Benidorm now offers 171 urban garden plots across three areas of the city. These gardens not only bring environmental benefits but also foster social cohesion, sustainability, and community bonding.

Applications must be submitted at the City Hall General Registry, at the Administrative Extensions, or through a general request on the Electronic Headquarters (https://sede.benidorm.org ). Interested persons must provide a photocopy of their ID card or the legally equivalent document.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with local life, enjoy nature, and discover the greener side of Benidorm.
