Activities in Benidorm will begin on Tuesday, September 23, at the José Llorca Linares Social Center (from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM) with the workshop “Your sea, your story, the footprints you leave. How to explain the Natura 2000 network to your clients,” aimed at tourism sector professionals. At 7:10 PM, there will be a talk titled “Silene d’Ifac, from the edge of extinction to the recovery of an iconic species.”
On Wednesday, September 24, starting at 9:00 AM, a land and sea clean-up will take place around Cala del Ti Ximo with support from Mundomar Foundation, Red Cross, Marina Baixa Fire Department, and several diving clubs.
On Friday, September 26, three more conferences will take place in the afternoon at the José Llorca Linares Social Center:
5:00 PM: “Between sea and land: the names of Serra Gelada Natural Park,” by Francesc Xabier Llorca Ibi
5:50 PM: “Sharks and rays of Serra Gelada Natural Park and adjacent areas,” by Jaime Penadés
6:40 PM: “Recovery of a unique heritage asset: the archaeological excavation of Torre de les Caletes,” by Ximo Pina
