BENIDORM HOSTS THE ‘CULTURAL KILOMETRE’ THIS SATURDAY: A FREE WALKING TOUR THROUGH THE CITY’S MOST ICONIC SITES

A 7-kilometre walk from the old town to La Cala combining culture and sport while exploring Benidorm’s urban heritage

BENIDORM HOSTS THE ‘CULTURAL KILOMETRE’ THIS SATURDAY: A FREE WALKING TOUR THROUGH THE CITY’S MOST ICONIC SITES

This Saturday, Benidorm invites visitors and residents to take part in the ‘Cultural Kilometre’, a free walking tour designed to highlight the city's most iconic cultural and artistic spots along a scenic route.

The walk starts at 11:00 a.m. from the Museu Boca del Calvari and follows the entire Poniente Promenade. Along the way, there will be guided stops at urban art spaces and the colourful swan sculpture by artist Hung Yi, with insights into Benidorm’s impressive open-air sculpture exhibitions.

The final stop is at Tossal de La Cala, where participants will learn about the historical significance of the Roman fortification found there. The short climb to the Tossal is optional.

Covering a distance of 7 kilometres, the route is suitable for all fitness levels. Participation is free, and registration can be completed online here:
