Ten short films from Benidorm’s festival shortlisted for Spain’s top film awards
The Skyline Benidorm Film Festival is turning heads once again—ten of the short films presented in its 2025 edition have been shortlisted for the 2026 Goya Awards, Spain’s most prestigious film honors.
Among the featured titles are El Príncep (Best Fiction), Carmela (Best Animation), and El cuento de una noche de verano (Best Direction), reflecting the festival’s growing national impact.
Taking place every spring, the festival brings a wave of creativity to Benidorm, with screenings, public events, and filmmaker meetups. Its 10th edition will be held from April 18 to 25, 2026, offering a cultural experience to enjoy alongside Benidorm’s sun and sea.
