Benidorm reaffirms its tourism leadership with strong hotel occupancy in October

High occupancy and solid performance in international markets

Benidorm recorded an average hotel occupancy rate of 85.8% in October, improving on last year’s figures. In the second half of the month, occupancy reached 83.3%, showing the city’s strength in attracting visitors beyond the traditional high season.

British travellers accounted for 46.5% of overnight stays, followed by the domestic market with 36.4%. This mix confirms Benidorm’s wide appeal and international reach.

Four-star hotels were the most popular, averaging 86% occupancy, closely followed by three-star hotels at 85.8%.

The outlook for the first half of November is also encouraging, with 78.8% occupancy already booked. Benidorm continues to prove itself as a year-round leading tourist destination.
