Discover Art from Anywhere: The Virtual Exhibition “Flotar & Planets” Now Online
Benidorm invites art lovers and curious travelers to explore a unique virtual exhibition featuring the works “Flotar” by Antje Wichtrey and “Planets” by Isidro Blasco. Originally showcased at the Boca del Calvari Museum, this stunning double exhibition is now available online, allowing visitors to enjoy it from anywhere in the world via computer, tablet, smartphone, or VR headset.
The virtual exhibition is part of the growing Benidorm Virtual platform, which brings museum experiences to life in a 360º digital environment. Visitors can navigate through immersive galleries, interact with artworks, and access audio-visual materials and artist information with just a few clicks.
Antje Wichtrey presents ethereal compositions created on lightweight Japanese paper, using vivid colors to depict the elements she sees “floating” on our “small blue dot” in the universe. Meanwhile, Isidro Blasco offers a striking take on global urban landscapes, including a 3D perspective of Benidorm, using digitized images and construction materials to create a dynamic visual journey.
