RNE launches “Destino Benidorm Fest” – a programme exploring the festival's history and 2026 candidates

RNE has launched “Destino Benidorm Fest”, a special programme designed to build excitement ahead of the 2026 edition of Benidorm Fest. The show will highlight this year’s entries while revisiting standout moments from past editions, offering a deep dive into the contest that has helped establish Benidorm as a hub for Spanish pop music.

The fifth edition of Benidorm Fest will take place from 10 to 14 February 2026, with semi-finals on the 10th and 12th, and the grand final on the 14th. A total of 18 artists will compete, selected from over 870 submissions – a testament to the growing popularity of the event.
