Over 2.4 million people stayed in hotels, apartments, and campsites, marking an 8% increase compared to last year. In total, nearly 17 million visitors passed through the city by September, including same-day tourists — a 10% rise from 2024.
The number of people unemployed in tourism-related jobs has also dropped significantly, with fewer than 600 unemployed in September, the best figure since 2018.
A key factor behind this success is the reduction in seasonality, as Benidorm continues to attract visitors all year round, keeping the economy active beyond the traditional summer months.
The resident population has also grown, confirming Benidorm not only as a major tourist destination but also as a thriving place to live and work, supported by a strong and stable job market.
These figures confirm Benidorm's ongoing success as a vibrant, international destination offering opportunity, hospitality, and year-round appeal.
