4th SUMA League Regatta in Benidorm Bay

On Sunday, January 18th from 9:00 a.m., Benidorm will host the 4th Regatta of the SUMA League Falucho/Llaüt Valencià — a major fixed-seat rowing event on the Mediterranean coast. The bay will welcome 60 teams from 15 clubs across the Valencian Community, competing in youth, absolute, veteran, and mixed veteran categories.

The regatta will take place off the Club Náutico Benidorm, featuring a 5,000-meter course that starts near the breakwater, heads toward Tío Ximo beach in the Rincón de Loix area, and returns to the harbor. Spectators will enjoy great views of the start and finish lines from the marina.

A sunny day with a light easterly breeze is forecasted, promising a challenging but exciting race. With over 500 athletes and many visitors expected, the event offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the sea, the spectacle of competitive rowing, and the vibrant coastal atmosphere of Benidorm.
