The exhibition dedicated to legendary photojournalist Joana Biarnés, widely recognised as Spain’s first female photojournalist, is now permanently available online via Benidorm Virtual.
Originally displayed at the Museu Boca del Calvari from 3 July to 19 October, the exhibition brought together over one hundred photographs capturing the evolution of fashion and the profound social changes of a transformative era. Today, visitors can experience it digitally from anywhere in the world.
Through the virtual platform, audiences can explore the full exhibition with high-quality images, detailed captions, more than twenty 360º views and three videos, offering an immersive experience that recreates the atmosphere of the museum.
Curated by art and fashion historian Josep Casamartina in collaboration with the Photographic Social Vision Foundation, which preserves and promotes the Joana Biarnés Archive, the exhibition previously travelled to cities such as Tarragona, Terrassa, Madrid and Teruel before returning to Benidorm in its new virtual format.
