The Iberia Festival will once again bring legendary national rock bands to Benidorm this year, expanding its program and confirming two dates for the 2026 edition. In addition to the already announced May 23 show, the festival will now feature a second date on September 26, with new bands joining the lineup, as shared by the event promoters and the city’s Events Councilor, Jesús Carrobles. Both concerts will take place at the Auditorio Julio Iglesias in the Parque de l’Aigüera.
As previously announced, the first day, on May 23, will feature some of the most iconic names in national rock and punk, including Evaristo, the legendary vocalist of La Polla Records; El Drogas, the mythical singer and bassist of Barricada; the Andalusian band Reincidentes; and Sekía, a rock group from the Marina Baixa region. In addition, one of the most irreverent and combative bands on the national scene, Def Con Dos, will join the lineup to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album Alzheimer, which propelled their explosive mix of rap, metal, and punk to the top.
The second festival date, scheduled for September 26, already has some confirmed names, including the influential Granada-based band 091, who will return to the Iberia Festival in 2026 with a new album. They will share the stage with the legendary band La Frontera and Ringo Rango, known for their explosive blend of rock’n’roll, surf, and rhythm & blues.
The organizers have teased that “more bands will be announced,” so the final lineup for Iberia Festival 2026 will continue to grow in the coming months. Additionally, tickets for the event are already available for purchase through the festival’s official website.
Councilor Jesús Carrobles emphasized that “musically speaking, 2026 will be a year with a lot of offerings and a wide variety, with concerts for a very diverse audience.” He also expressed his gratitude to the promoters for “continuing to support the Iberia Festival in Benidorm, the city where it was born, where it has become established, and from which we hope it will continue to grow.”
