The big winner of the evening was “El regalo”, directed by Lara Izaguirre, which received the award for Best Fiction Short Film. Its leading performers also earned the Jury’s Special Mention for their outstanding performances.
Another standout title was “Casi septiembre”, by Lucía G. Romero, which won both Best Director and Best Performance, the latter awarded to Ana Barja.
Throughout the week, the festival featured screenings, industry meetings and special activities that attracted enthusiastic audiences, highlighting Benidorm’s growing reputation as a year-round destination for culture and events beyond its famous beaches.
Festival director Beatriz Hernández announced that the eleventh edition will return “with more ideas, more cinema and more excitement than ever,” inviting both residents and visitors to come back next year for another must-attend cultural event.
