Londres Street to Remain Closed to Traffic for Two Months Due to Montecarlo Improvement Works

Visitor Information

Benidorm continues investing in urban improvements to create a more modern, comfortable and sustainable destination. As part of this programme, new works will begin tomorrow on Londres Street, requiring a temporary traffic closure on the section between Estocolmo and Montecarlo.

During the works, access to private parking areas and driveways will remain available, allowing authorised residents and visitors to reach their properties.

The works include the installation of a new stormwater drainage system and street gullies, helping improve water management and strengthen the area’s infrastructure.

At the same time, Montecarlo Avenue will reopen to traffic, and no further road closures are currently expected, although some parking bays and sections of pavement may be temporarily affected. A pedestrian route will always remain open.

This wider renovation project also includes improvements to:

  • Drinking water network
  • Sewer system
  • Rainwater drainage
  • Public lighting
  • Road surfacing
  • Road signage
  • Green areas and trees
  • Reclaimed water network

Visitors are advised to plan journeys in advance and follow temporary signage in the area.
