Benidorm expands cycling network with 13 new smart bike parking stations
More convenience, security and sustainable ways to explore the city
Benidorm will continue strengthening sustainable mobility with the installation of 13 new smart and secure bike parking stations across the city. This initiative will expand the current network and make it even easier for residents and visitors to travel by bicycle or personal electric mobility vehicles.
The new facilities are designed to provide a modern, user-friendly and safe experience. Each station will include remote access control, internal video surveillance and lighting, offering greater protection while bikes are parked.
Users will access the bike parking system through a mobile app. The app provides a digital code to open and close the unit quickly and easily, making drop-off and collection simple and efficient.
The project responds to the growing popularity of cycling as a practical and eco-friendly way to discover the city, move between beaches, shopping areas and leisure spots, and enjoy a healthier way of getting around.

- Avenida Municipi
- Former Conservatory car park
- Calle Fragata (two units, Salto del Agua area)
- Junction of Jaime I and Acacias Street
- Plaza de España
- Guillermo Amor Sports City
- Park-and-ride at Avenida Beniardá
- Avenida de La Vila Joiosa (next to Torre de Morales)
- Junction of Jaime I and Nicaragua
