The El Calvari neighbourhood is undergoing a series of maintenance works on its pedestrian streets, which are characterised by cobbled paving. The work focuses on repairing minor damage and repointing the cobblestones, with the aim of making walking easier and helping to prevent trips and falls.
These improvements are being carried out at specific points throughout the neighbourhood and will enhance both comfort for residents and visitors and the overall appearance of the urban environment. The work is expected to be completed in the coming days.
Once these tasks have been completed, street furniture such as bollards, bins and benches will also be replaced. Repointing work will also be extended to some defective drains to reduce the risk of tripping and continue improving accessibility in the area.
These improvements help keep one of Benidorm’s most charming urban neighbourhoods in good condition, offering a more comfortable, safe and pleasant experience for those strolling through El Calvari.
