Benidorm has another reason to celebrate its beaches. Levante and Poniente have renewed their Blue Flag status, a distinction that recognises the quality, safety, accessibility and environmental management of two of the city’s most iconic beaches.
This recognition adds to the many quality certifications held by Benidorm’s beaches, which remain open and active all year round thanks to the city’s climate, services and wide range of seaside tourism experiences.
The Blue Flag highlights key aspects such as water quality, beach cleanliness, environmental information, safety, visitor services and accessibility for beachgoers.
In addition, Benidorm Yacht Club has also renewed this distinction, further strengthening the city’s position as a leading Mediterranean destination where visitors can enjoy the sea with confidence.
