Jasmin

Jasmin grew up in Holland and had come to Benidorm on many occasions on holiday, but when she discovered all the karaokes around and the city’s great music industry, she started to like the city even more.

She has always been interested in singing since she was very young, but was also very shy, so she didn’t actually want to make it her job until she grew older and realised she loved it so much that she had to push herself to overcome her stage fright. So when she finished school she decided to move over to Benidorm to try and pursue her singing career for a year, but it has eventually turned into 11 years and she’s not planning on leaving after all the effort she’s put into becoming an established artist.

At first she struggled, but managed to put together a musical broadway show that she performed by herself for many years, until the hotels asked her for something different, so she came up with her Shania Twain tribute, which would be followed by many other shows.

She currently has a great list of shows, that include both tribute acts as well as shows where she performs a mix of songs, and Jasmin usually performs up to 25 shows a week! But she loves the variety of her job and says she would get bored of performing the same things over and over again, so she’s always thinking about new shows she could put together. Overall, Jasmin loves what she does, and even if there’s a day when she doesn’t feel like going to work, she says she gets up on stage and that feeling totally vanishes.
