This route, approximately 7 kilometers long, combines the natural beauty of the park with the accessibility needed for all visitors.

We will start at the Plaza del Castillo in Benidorm and end at the majestic cliffs of Sierra Helada. This route takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on your pace and the stops you make. It is a low-difficulty route, ideal for all ages and physical conditions.

Equipment: It is recommended to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable clothing. Although the route is accessible, it is important to be prepared for the sun and heat.

Our journey begins at the historic Plaza del Castillo, a landmark in Benidorm. This square offers spectacular panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast. Make sure to enjoy the view before starting your walk. From here, we will head towards Playa de Levante, known for its lively atmosphere and accessibility.

Following Our Path through Playa de Levante

Playa de Levante is one of the most popular beaches in Benidorm, stretching over 2 kilometers of golden sand and crystal-clear waters. This section is completely accessible, with wooden walkways that facilitate access to the beach. Strolling along the promenade is a vibrant experience, with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops along the way. Enjoy the atmosphere and, if you wish, take a break on one of the benches along the promenade.

Leaving Playa de Levante and Heading into the Natural Park

This park is characterized by its impressive geology and biodiversity. The accessible trail is well-marked and has a suitable surface for wheelchairs and bicycles.

Continuing Towards Tio Ximo and Almadraba Coves

These are two hidden gems of the Benidorm coast. Cala Almadraba, with its tranquil atmosphere and crystal-clear waters, is perfect for those looking for a more secluded place to relax. Next, we arrive at Cala Tio Ximo, known for its natural surroundings and rich marine life.

As we progress, the path gradually leads us to the cliffs of Sierra Helada. This section is one of the most impressive, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Benidorm coast. The trail is adapted to be accessible, with smooth and wide surfaces that allow for comfortable transit.

The route takes us to several viewpoints from which you can appreciate the majesty of Benidorm and the vastness of the sea. The journey culminates at the cliffs of Sierra Helada, a place that will leave you breathless with its natural beauty. Among the many treasures these cliffs hold is a magnificent legacy in the form of fossilized dunes. Sand anchored in the cliff, embraced by it forever. The cliffs, with their impressive drop into the sea, offer some of the most spectacular views of the entire Costa Blanca. Here we will find the watchtower of Punta del Caval, a medieval defense tower declared a Cultural Interest Site.
