Benidorm hosts an historic route through “La Calle” Tossal

This historical route takes places this Sunday 18th of October

The Heritage council of Benidorm in collaboration with the University of Alicante have launched an historic route through El Tossal, which takes places this Sunday 18th of October where the 3rd season of excavations have finished recently.

The route starts at 9 am from the Parque de Elche (Poniente Beach) and it will take around 3h 30 mins to complete it. During the route participants will be able to see the Torre de Morales ( a watchtower which was used to be as an alarm system to protect the coast from the pirates coming from the North of Africa ) and the archaeological site of El Tossal both of them are considered as Assets of Cultural Interest.

In contrast to other routes above the Tossal,  the archaeologist Feliciana Sala and the manager Jesus Moratalla will take part in this one.
