PHASE 0

REOPENING the Parks of Elche, Séquia Mare and L'Aigüera for walking and practicing sports at the times established in the State Plan for the new normality.

IMPORTANT: Children's play areas, banks, public toilets, rest areas and bio-health areas will remain closed.

All the information about each park by clicking on the name:

Benidorm has enabled access to the Mal Pas’ beach so that the city's federated swimmers can train in open water from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., according to the decree published yesterday by the Ministry of Health which establishes, among other things, the conditions for the practice of professional and federated sport in open spaces, including the sea. The Municipal Archive has once again enabled consultation of its funds. Those interested in specific documentation may request it by e-mail: archivo@benidorm.org , once the fund has been located, a digital copy will be sent to the user, to avoid displacements.

This mail will be available for the request of prior appointment, as well as the telephone 966815486. The staff of the Municipal Archive will specify the date of consultation, which will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SPORTS

Benidorm opens its facilities of the Sports City 'Guillermo Amor' and the Palau d'Esports 'l'Illa de Benidorm” to the public in accordance with government regulations which indicate, in the section on non-professional sports, outdoor sports facilities without an audience for non-contact sports, like athletics, and tennis.

-Athletics: Athletics: The athletics track of the Sports City 'Guillermo Amor' for a maximum capacity of 30%. You must reserve 24 hours in advance to make a training plan, on the telephone 96 681 54 72, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consult the complete news here.

-Tennis: For the practice of tennis, in the Sports City 'Guillermo Amor' and in the Palau d'Esport 'l'Illa de Benidorm' you must make the reservation with 24 hours in advance at the telephones 96 681 54 72 (Sports City) or 630 66 11 69 (Palau d'Esports) Consult the complete news here.

It is important to know that it will not be possible to access the changing rooms, the sports equipment must be your personal property and the maximum time for individual training will be 1 hour and 50 minutes. A physical distance of at least 8 meters must be maintained.

For the practice of tennis, two players are allowed per tennis court, not being allowed to play in pairs. Similarly, access to changing rooms is not allowed and sports equipment must be personal. The time of use of the tracks will also be 1 hour and 50 minutes per track.

HOSTELRY: BARS AND RESTAURANTS IN BENIDORM

The terraces in Benidorm will be open until 1 a. m.

The regulations stipulate that the outdoor terraces of the sector's establishments may be reopened to the public, with a limit of 50% of the tables allowed.

In any case, it must ensure that the physical distance between the tables is maintained at least two metres. The maximum occupancy will be ten people per table or group of tables. Menus of common use will be excluded, opting for their own electronic devices, blackboards, posters or other similar means.

There are rules for the cleaning and disinfection of tables and chairs, as well as any other surface that can be occupied by different clients.

Toilets may only be used by one person at a time, unless an assistant is required, and must be cleaned at a minimum frequency of six times a day. Consult the complete notice here.

CENTRAL LIBRARY OF BENIDORM:

The Central Library of Benidorm reactivates the book lending service, which will be carried out by appointment. In addition, a bibliographic advice service will be provided to those students who require it.
