The digital guide of hotels with accessibility, prepared by the Platform Representing People with Physical Disabilities (Predif), compiles the available resources and characteristics of 60 hotels in Benidorm. Thus, informing potential clients about the conditions of physical, visual, auditory, cognitive and other accessibility needs offered by each hotel within their facilities and available services, as stated by the director of the Accessible Tourism area of Predif.
This guide is an ongoing document prepared by the Platform Representing People with Physical Disabilities (Predif) that provides information about the universal accessibility services available in the accommodation sector in Benidorm.
In addition, this guide is a reflection of the commitment Benidorm hotels give to inclusion and to providing a quality tourist experience accessible to all. A shared goal between the local Administration and private initiative, with constant improvements towards the universal accessibility of our city.
Concretely, this guide informs on the availability of parking spaces, toilets reserved for people with reduced mobility, adapted rooms and support resources for the pool.
Furthermore, it indicates if the establishment has staff with knowledge of sign language or trained in attending to people with accessibility needs; as well as the availability of a magnetic hearing loop or menus for people with food intolerances.
Finally, in the current sample of establishments we find 3 five-star hotels, 35 four-star hotels, 21 three-star hotels and 1 two-star hotel.
