🔥 Over 280 Years of History and Tradition
Benidorm’s Patron Saint Festivities date back to March 1740, when a ship was carried to its shores by a violent storm. To prevent disease, the ship was burned, but among the remains, a group of young people found the image of the Virgin, which they took to the church, where a chapel was later built in her honor.
🏖️ A Celebration That Attracts Visitors from Around the World
Each year, this historic event is reenacted on Poniente Beach on Saturday at five in the afternoon, keeping the tradition alive. Over the years, these festivities have become a major tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over Spain and beyond.
