🌸 Spring arrives, and with it, the Fallas of Benidorm. In March, the city bursts into light, colour, and tradition. Get ready to experience one of the most spectacular festivals in the Valencian calendar!
🔥 FROM MARCH 17 TO 19, YOU HAVE A DATE IN BENIDORM
For five days, firework displays, mascletàs, and falla monuments take centre stage. The scent of gunpowder blends with the delicate fragrance of flowers, and the music of local bands intertwines with the booming explosions of the masclets. An incredible transformation marking the arrival of spring!
🚀 LA CRIDA: THE START OF THE CELEBRATIONS
With La Crida, the official call that marks the beginning of the festivities, Benidorm is filled with an electrifying atmosphere. Two key days stand out:
✨ March 18: The Floral Offering to the Virgin, an emotional procession full of devotion and colour.
🎉 March 19: The spectacular parade of floats, and at night, the legendary "Cremà", where fire consumes the fallas monuments in a passionate and symbolic ritual.
🌟 THREE FALLA COMMISSIONS, ONE SHARED SPIRIT
Benidorm has three falla commissions:
Falla Centro (Plaza Doctor Fleming)
Falla Rincón (Av. Ametlla de Mar, in front of Burger King)
Falla "Els Tolls" (C/ Tomás Ortuño)
Each commission constructs and displays its falla in its district, organising parades, processions, and the traditional offering. The celebrations culminate on March 19 with the eagerly awaited Cremà!
🔥 FIRE, THE REBIRTH OF A NEW DREAM
The Fallas symbolise the cycle of life: dreams that burn to make way for new ideas. Fire, music, and pure passionremind us that after every ending, a new beginning awaits. And so, with the first ashes of March 19, the countdown to the next Fallas begins!
