JP Jonas

JP reckons that the reason he got into singing was because he really enjoyed singing karaoke when he was little, and when he grew older he realised he wanted to do it more professionally. He now does it for a living, having up to 27 shows a week! He started working as a singer in Portsmouth, where he grew up, then moved to Torrevieja in Spain to continue as a singer, but finally came to Benidorm to take his career a step further and eventually got into tributes. He’s hard-working and always tries to put together new shows that he thinks the audience will like, and is always watching out to see what resonates well with the crowd in order to change up his performances.

JP sees Benidorm as the biggest entertainment city in the world, and even though he has to do a lot of shows every night, he definitely thinks his job is a luxury because he can do what he loves, which is singing. He currently has many tribute shows, like Take That vs Robbie, Westlife, Boyzone, together with many others, as well as independent performances. And if that wasn’t enough, he also writes his own songs, collaborating with DJ’s in both the UK and Germany, and even has some of them released. He’s got a Christmas song called ‘Because it’s Christmas’ under the name JP Jonas, and his most recent song is titled ‘Fantasy’, a great dance track that you can’t miss!
